Aberdeen Sausage

A fitting start, and if you know me, you know why.

This recipe comes from Aberdeen, the Granite City.

1 lb. sausage-meat
1 lb. minced steak
4 oz. minced bacon
8 oz. fresh white breadcrumbs
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper
1 egg, beaten
breadcrumbs for coating

Mix together all ingredients, except the last two. Bine with beaten egg. Make into a roll. Boil in a floured cloth for 1 1/2 hours. Roll in breadcrumbs, toasted in the oven. Serve cold with salad. Serves 6.
